Business Improvement apps presented to Tricorn Customers
Following Valuechain's acquisition of Tricorn earlier in the year, both companies have been in constant collaboration to generate extra value for clients. November 22nd saw a huge opportunity for current Tricorn clients to reap the benefits of the new collaboration, as they were treated to a first look seminar at some of Valuechain's latest business improvement apps.
On show were 5 brand new apps including iQapture, AnalytiQs, Audits,CSIP, and NPI. With huge anticipation and excitement surrounding the event, it is unsurprising that they was a strong turnout.
First to be presented was Valuechain's iQapture product. After recently collaborating with Bentley Motors, the issue capture and analysis tool is nearly ready for commercial release. Group CEO, Tom Dawes, spared no expense demonstrating the excellent functionality and impressive range of applicability to attendees. Following Bentley's excellent 48% reduction in time to identify problems, there was clearly a huge level of excitement over this product.
The next product showcased, was Valuechain's most widely applicable tool, AnalytiQs. Also being used by Bentley Motors, as well as several SMEs in the North West, AnalytiQs is a custom reporting tool with a difference. It allows users to generate beautiful graphs and charts to represent their data, and help streamline the data analysis process. Product Development Director of Valuechain, James White, stressed the benefits of AnalytiQs, comparing it to with traditional spreadsheet capabilities. While programs like Excel are fragmented, and counter-intuitive, AnalytiQs streamlines the process of updating data in the system, and can automatically update graphs when new data is added, making the whole process hassle free. However, the key draw for AnalytiQs is the software's applicability a range of business areas, including, issue data, HR, Finance, and many more.
After the break, James returned to present Valuechain's Audits app. The app is designed to ensure companies are audit ready, all year round. It removes the endless stacks of paper, and the stress that comes around for the next audit period. This was clearly appealing to attendees, who were excited at the promise of a hassle free audit. Complete with an extensive library of audit regulations, and endorsed by auditors of standards agencies like AS9100, and SC21, the app promises much, and looks set to deliver. While it is currently not in use by many companies, development is in the latter stages, and commercial launch is set for early spring 2017.
All the apps presented are configured to operate in a secure data centre, ensuring they integrate seamlessly with Tricorn Systems, and any other production control, or ERP software currently in place. This makes the tools invaluable, as they generate real business intelligence to those who use them, and allow manufacturers to only invest in what they need
The future looks bright for the two supply chain intelligence companies, and this event will be one of many, as Valuechain and Tricorn look to advance company relationships, and generate special benefits for their new and existing clients. With all 5 apps on show set to be released in 2017, there is much to get excited about in the new year!
