Connectivity and collaboration are vital for small companies that are part of complete global supply chains, says Tom Dawes, CEO of Valuechain, which provides software to help aerospace and advanced manufacturers share information.
The company, in Preston, has won multiple innovation grants to develop products for clients such as Bentley Motors and Bombardier Aerospace. It's 'multi-tier supply chain collaboration platform' was launched at this year's Paris Airshow and demand is growing.
Dawes says: "The way to really drive productivity, especially in the supply chain, is for businesses to connect and collaborate with their customers and suppliers. Our platforms unlock the potential for relationship management, collaborative tendering, new product introduction, dynamic order book transparency and supply chain intelligence."
